No, no I'm not... though if I have to do any more revision my brain may just rot. Dx

This will be kept short for once... makes a change to my usual mega-novels of phail that nobody probably even reads anyway. xD I update this place less than I do Cyanide, which is saying something. .___.

Anyway... I had my Geology trip to the lakes three/four weeks ago. =3 'Twas very fun! Unfortunately, being a clutz, I forgot to take the SD card for my camera so I could only take 4 photos. I got one or two more on my phone, but the quality is a little rubbish. I'll have to get them uploaded.
I also have a pet rock now. =D I shall have to get a picture of him. 'Tis a lovely lump of metamorphic rock with a large quartz mineral vein through the middle. -has no life-

I other news, my college were sucessful in the Question Time competition. The judges liked us, so we've gone though and now two peeps (I'm not one of them. xD I have no social skills) will be going to make the real show that will be broadcast on television! Spiffy, eh?

Other than the fact I've a mass of exam revision to do, I've not much else in the way of news. Hope you all had a lovely Easter! Ciao!

It's been a while, eh? I've been flooded with work lately... partly because I procrastinated so much and didn't get any done straight away. I think I've gotten on top of it all again now, though. Still, I'm half dead thanks to staying up to some unholy hour finishing stupid assignments. -passes out- Hopefully I can avoid that happening again.... should be a little easier now, anyway. Exams are in roughly nine weeks and I'm apparently going to be getting less homework in some subjects. Sods law, however, will mean I get a tonne in another. I'm tempted to take bets, but my luck will be that I lose. Hehe...

On top of exams and a tonne of homework, my college got into the last ten of some competition ran by the BBC (pretty much the main broadcasting company on the tv) so I've been making shiny logos for that. First time I've made something simple, really, and I'm really happy with it.

Is it not spiffy? xD Hehe. Tis' fun making logos... I think I actually like it. Only not fun thing was having to remake it after I accidently lost it first time. x.x Question Time should be gone by the end of the this month though - and speaking of the end of this month, I've a three day trip to the Lake District for Geology! :D. I can't wait.

I've signed up for an Open University course in some G&T thing to do with the college... Luckily, it starts in May so I'll have the summer to get it out of the way. That, and after my exams I'll most probably be dropping some subjects (and I'll no doubts be eaten alive in the process. x.x). Fossils and the History of Life though (or something like that), so it should be interesting. :D And, plus side is that I don't have to pay the £140 because I am -quite frankly- broke. xD

On another note, though, I rediscovered Hellsing! I forgot how awesome that manga was. I'd only gotten so far in before I got majorly distracted. Hopefully I can finish reading it this time, for Alucard is pure liquid awesome, and half of the other characters are too. For now, that should keep me occupied. I've still a tonne of books to read as well... maybe I'll be able to get round to finishing Shadow's Edge now I'm no longer tunneling through a mountain of notes and essay questions.

Music on the right might be a bit messed up at the moment. I'm going through another odd phase, so I'm changing it all. It'll probably be mostly prog this time, with some crap thrown in between. I'm currently obsessed over Dreamline by Rush, and most Rainbow and Dio songs. Uber awesome. x3 That said, though, I'm also practically in love with Teräsbetoni's Painajainen. I'm crazy for crap like that. xD

All in all though, if I can keep on top of work I might be able to up my activity on Cyanide. I'm begginning to get bored of the current layout already, so I might try making a new one. Depends, really, on whether I can get my creativity back. It seems to have practically abandoned me at the moment. x____x That might be something to do with the diet of Haribo, Black Jacks, and other sugary crap things. I probably sound like a freak for saying this, but.... I WANT VEG! D:

And nuu! It's getting warmer already. I like it just as it is, 'tis nice weather right now. Only just warm enough to not wear a jacket, making it perfect. The stupid summer is approaching though, and with it comes heat and more ranting from me. I'm allergic to the warmth. D: The sun is trying to kill me!

I shall cease my ranting a raving for now, though, for I've work to do and boredom to sate. Have fun!

Been completely under the weather this week. Horrid cold which turning into a chest infection. I've managed to avoid the doctors so far, and it seems to be clearing up on it's own (touch wood ¬3¬). I also have THE most painful paper-cut in history. Dx Haven't the foggiest how I managed to get the blighter, but it's deep... and right beneath my nail. x__x (Which are painted a rather fetching shade of red at the moment. ;D).

I finally finished Brisingr the other day.

Why is it that I feel there's a cloud of impending doom hovering over Roran? With him being Eragon's cousin, and Katrina's husband (and her now pregnant), I'd not be surprised if he kicked the bucket in Book IV. It reminds me of the Celt in Thunder God. xD Hehe.
And balls! Dx I was really wanting Eragon to get eaten by the tree. I've a curse, you see... It's only my favourite characters within a book that die. Brom's already gone bye-bye, so I'm just waiting for Murtagh to get beheaded Shalidar-style. ¬3¬

I'm now reading the second Night Angel Trilogy book, and I bet atleast one of my favourites die. D= They're already killed off the most awesome character. T__T Maybe I should just stop reading, aye?
On the note of reading, I started Fullmetal Alchemist again. I forgot how awesome it was. xD I need more manga though. D= Anyone recommend anything?

Other than that, I've nothing else do say. Just a tonne of homework to get on with. x__x

Haha. My mum bought me a game for the 360 at Christmas, and I've only just touched it. It's called 'Sword of Doom', or something along that lines, and upon the box it says 'RPG/Action Adventure'... now, I must admit it's sparkley, and despite the half-vampire prince (who I chose to play as out of the other five characters) being cool even though he is a complete and utter waste of space (yeah, I'm confused as to how he can be both at once), it's no RPG. I mean... where are the other people! The crappy dialogue scenes! The towns?! All you do is run around hacking at lizard men, getting hacked AT by plants, and die. A lot. Especially if you're me. Dx
Someone please tell me the name of a decent RPG!

Soooooooo... as you might have guessed, I've had sugar. ;D My birthday tomorrow, so someone bought sweets and I ninjad a few. x3 I cannae wait. -is like a little kid- Just in time for that, I've finally decided on a New Years resolution. It's a little overdue, aye, but if I count the Chinese New Year, then I can get away with it.... maybe. -shifty eyes-
I've decided I'll try keep on top of my homework. Sooner I do it, sooner it's done with, sooner I can waste my time. ;D Hopefully, I'll learn to not procrastinate and I'll get something productive done.

Anyway, if you had to choose someone to be god, who would it be? XD
I, myself, am an atheist but if there was anyone who was a god (or anything close), it would be a close tie between Bill Bailey and Steven Fry (with Eddie Izzard close behind). Bill Bailey is simply fantastic, and Steven Fry is amazing too. You have to pity him though.
Especially when he has to put up with this;

Fry is the guy in the centre (and an absolute genius O.o), and QI , Quite Interesting, is possibly the best show on earth. For those of you unlucky enough to have never seen it, you should hunt on the mighty tube! It's probably the only show I watch on TV. O.o (At the moment, I'm not even watching it on there. xD Someone lent me the first series so that's been getting in the way of me finishing Brisingr).

I've been meaning to add music to this page for a while so that I can torture you with my rubbish tastes. If I find the ability to not get distracted, I shall do that... so be warned. ;D Your ears my bleed, and your brains turn to mush.

Running into walls

I really do have a short attention span. XD It was only... what? Three weeks? Since I changed Cyanide's layout, and I've gone and done it again. I have a partial excuse though! A) It looked fuzzy on some resolutions. B) It was blinding me. @___@ Other than that, my only excuse is that I'm a complete and utter fangirl and had to somehow use Prince of Persia 2008 artwork. Doesn't it look pretty though! (And, plus side, no Elika! I really can't stand her. x__x). I really do love concept art. It's magical. x3

I went to play on Prince of Persia last night on the 360, but didn't get anywhere near doing so. Mirror's Edge distracted me, with all it's 'shinyness', and I ended up playing that. The concept is interesting... It's not too bad a game, but I can't say I'd recommend it much. At points, the scenery is so bright I'm dazzled, and at other parts (like where I'm wandering around right now) it's so dark it's like crawling around in the abyss and I don't know what's shadow and what's a giant void I'm going to plummet down.
I like the controls, which is odd as I usually whine about those. I dislike the camera angle though. x___x It's good at parts as it has the whole 'involved' factor, but I'm more of a third-person fan... I like being the little spectre hovering five to ten feet behind. Running around in first person is really odd as I keep getting a face full of wall every two seconds seeing as I've no directional skills whatsoever.

I other words, I completely agree with Yahtzee of Zero Punctuation who I shall shamelessly plug once more! xD I've really become addicted to watching those reviews. Firstly they're funny, and secondly they're so true. I hate game reviews in magazines as they usually just coat everything in icing and sprinkles and call it godly. They fail to point out the bugs crawling around beneath all the sugar though. ¬3¬

On the note of my life, it's as uneventful as ever.
We've finally finished Key Skills in College. Huzzah! But.... and here's the downside, we have to start General Studies on Monday. I've no idea what it entails... no doubts it'll be more useless rubbish. Px I don't even know if there's anyone who I know in my class. Dx (Not that I really speak to anyone anyway xD). I'm mostly complaining because I lose an hour of my sleeping in time. Usually I have two free periods on a Monday morning; an hour sleep in, and an hour on the laptop before I run in for Geology. Now I have to choose between one or the other! -faints overdramatically-
(Really though, I need my sleep. I'm a swine for staying up till the wee hours of dawn. O__O).
Anyone else with insomnia will know how much of a pain in the arse it is. x__x I can go to bed 'early', say at 9:30pm, yet I can bet you all the money in the world I'll still be awake past 3am.

Currently I'm shying away from 'homework'. Everyone has chosen tomorrow as a perfect time to give us all tests so I'm flooded with revision. I'll probably scan over it all a little and try wing it unless I find the ability to wake up. -has been half asleep all day- u___u

I'll probably -and by probably mean definately- find something better to do. Like draw (which I've started doing again x3), murder things in photoshop, or listen to music.... or do all three at the same time. -is the queen on multitasking- I need more music though. XD I've just about killed all my albums by listening to them so much. At the moment, I'm taking advantage of the free album NIN are giving away on thier website.
Now, why can't all bands do that? D=

My last update was in September.... I really did neglect this, didn't I? Hehe. Oh dear. x__x
College has been hectic, to say the least. I swear that in the last four/five months, I've had more homework than I did over all of my years in Secondary School. Most of it is from my History and Politic's teachers.
Scrap that. ALL of it is! Save for the four other pieces I've had in Geography and Geology.
I've also had exams. Px
After taking the Critical Thinking exam, I've discovered that is possible to love other exams. It was the worst exam in my entire life. I doubt it could get worse than that, so I can be nothing but optimistic in future exams! xD As previously said, I've not a clue what it is we're being taught. I just switch off and start checking the clock every two seconds. @.@ It's the most pointless lesson in my opinion. Well, Key Skills is actually. I can already bloody write, so why do I have to bloody prove it! I've had the exam for that already (and it was just like re-sitting my English GCSE), and now we have to put together some sort of 'portfolio'. I have some of it done. I've got my presentation done, and my discussion (though I need the notes), as well as some short peice of writing. I still need an assignment though, and if I get nagged one more time I shall scream. x__x
I've already said that I can't exactly hand it in till I get the silly little yellow sheets and get my teacher to mark the essay and sign the sheets. Oh, and I apparently have to scan sources which means I'll my kicking the scanner for the a week to come.

Anyway, this is extremely belated, but... hope you all had a lovely holiday and happy new year!
I've already made my resolution, and it is this; never bother to make a resolution. There is a 666% chance I will fail to keep it. xD Anyway, what am I supposed to do? o.O Act less wierd? Nope... not me. 83 Be more social? I have the emotional and social spectrum of a rock, and I like that.
My resolution, if I ultimately had to make one would most probably be to complete a list of games that come to my head. XD
And, speaking of games, has anyone tried the new Prince of Persia game? A PoP fan, I love it... even if it does have it's flaws. x__x Elika, I cannot stand, though that is no surprise as I've never been a fan of female characters. The Prince is hilariously funny in parts, but the controls for the 360 are too simple. The fighting is a little repetative and 'feh' as well. It's no where near as fantastic as the fighting seen in the previous games.

(Utterly fantastic... even if I do love the game, I have to agree in parts).

I got the new game for Christmas, but only recently tried it out because the Xbox 360 is my brothers. The one he got first didn't work because it had the dreaded 3 red lights o'doom (can't Microsoft do anything right? ¬3¬) but the new one works fine. Apparently, there's a problem with a third of all 360s. o___o If they aren't broken straight away, they play up after a few weeks or months. Something to do with Microsoft trying to cut their spending by making their own hardware instead of buying from other companies as they usually did. I think they learnt the mistake now. ¬¬

I've also heard that a new version of windows is going to be released. Why they're calling Windows 7, of all things, is beyond me. Seems like another money making ploy to me... That said, I despise Vista (though I have to use it for now x__x) and are somewhat of an XP fangirl. Vista looks nice. I like the transparencies and the ability to change the colour of things, but by god does it lag. It's ridiculous! It's not gamer friendly at all. Dx Well, not in my opinion at least.

I should also make a resolution to pay more attention to Cyanide. Though, to be honest, I neglect it nowhere near as much as here. I should also get round to doing my homework when I get it, and not the night before... After staying up till past midnight shortly before the holidays to finish a Geography assignment, I've discovered that though I do not really need sleep, it would be nice to not have to panic. xD Just you wait though, I'll do it again.

That, I can probably promise.

Okay, I forgot about the blog as I said I would. >.> Told yall I was forgetful. And lazy. Laziness and poor memory are probably two of the worst qualities someone can have, eh? I'm surprised how I remembered anything from years 10 and 11 to do so well in my GCSEs. ((Which, those who jumped Solitary Power will know, I got the results for in late August)). I'm now in college, being flooded with tonnes of joyous homework. -headdesks-
Aside from the homework, it's quite fun. =D
I so Geography, Geology, History and Government & Politics... oh, and Critical Thinking. A certain teacher put all G&T students down for it. x__x To be honest, I'm still not sure what it is we're being taught. @.@
The other lessons, however, are fun.
On monday Geology dragged us out to look at rocks and waterfalls... Well, actually just the rocks, but it's hard to miss Cow Green Reservoir and Low Force. The six mile trek was good (I love walking), and our teacher (who takes clumsy and hyper to a whole new level) had his share of messing about.

Back to Solitary Power, you may have noticed that SP is now closed. T.T
It's not the end of the world though! In it's place is my new website, Cyanide. SP was becoming a bit of a chore with school/college and I was losing interest. I'll no longer be making graphics for use on neopets... instead, I'll focus on things that I'm interested in... such as making ridiculous amounts of avatars than no-one probably uses. xDD

The 12th was a happy day. =D
Anyone who lurks on my site or knows me will know how much of a rock/metal fan I am. Therefore, partly obsessed with Metallica as I am, it's no surprise I bought their album. To be quite honest, I don't know why people flame St.Anger. Personally, I thought some of the songs on it were good... some weren't as great as their previous music, but still...
Either way, Death Magnetic is epic-win. Cyanide and Broken, Beat & Scarred are quickly turning into my all time favourite songs. x3 If you've not heard them, go listen to them now!

Other than the above, as usual, m,y life is uneventful.
I should probably go start venturing up that mountain of homework before there's an avalance and I get burried beneath my folders. O_o

Feels like the flu though. D= My chest is sore and my arms and legs are aching even though I've done nothings. TT__TT Hopefully it goes away instead of getting worse. -crosses fingers-

I'm bored of summer now. Well, I was bored less than a week in but it's just getting tedious now. There's nothing to do! x_x Actually, there are probably a lot of things but I have no money. XD And the £2 game I bought won't work because (despite the game being bloody ancient) my laptop doesn't have a graphics card that's powerful enough. Oh joy! ;D

At least I have something to look forward to/dread this month. And no... it's not my brother's birthday I'm on about.
I get my GCSE results on the 21st. I'm panicking really badly, but at the same time I can't wait. Haha.

Back to the note of money, that's a lie.... for now.
I'm house/dog/cat sitting for my aunt and she's paying me. =D Not sure how much, but it'll be fun. I love her dog. x3 He's cute. I've not really seen the cat, but I think there's a gremlin theme within my family. We have Gizzmo, and they have Mogwi.
The only downside is I'm going to be internet-less. D= I'll live though... I think...

Other than that (oh, and getting dragged shopping to get trousers. I now have more than the one pair of jeans! ;D) life for the Shini has been uneventful. Still can't find a job, still have partial design block -which is vanishing then coming back again every other day- and I still need more music/anime to listen to/watch. x__x

Well... even if I didn't, things have been a little hectic so today is the first day I've managed to jump on this poor, neglected blog. -nods-

I'm happy, because we have a new TV. =D
By new, I mean one that someone gave us, but it's better than the tiny box thing we had for a while. O__O That seriously messed up the picture, and none of the games consoles worked on it. TT__TT

Now that I think of it, that was a lie. The Xbox worked but the only good game we have for that (in my opinion, anyway) is Morrowind. Over the course of two days, one of which I stayed up till 2am playing on it, I've gotten further than ever... It just keeps reminding me that I need to finish Assassin's Creed still.

I really need some more Manga to read, or Anime to watch. x__x
I've been reading Ouran and Vampire Knight, but I'm getting a little bored. After all, Shini needs pointless violence or pyromaniacy to be amused for a long period of time.
Speaking of fire, I finally watched Kingdom of Heaven the other night. =D
I was thinking it'd be rubbish, but I actually like it... lots of fighting, and lots of swords. The only thing is, my poor friends have to put up with me shouting 'INFIDELS' every given moment. ^^'

Still dying of boredom waiting for my GCSE results. x__x I really can't wait till September, I need something to do. Come September, minds, I'll probably not want to go to college. XD
Still waiting for my dentist appointment. ¬¬ Prep-work left my tooth sharp. D=

See! Look! I didn't forget about this place. Honestly... ^^
Just been too lazy to do anything. After all, Shini's life off of the computer is pretty uneventful... save for trips to the dentist and cooking mishaps.

I got back from having a filling removed and redone over three hours ago, and the whole right side of my mouth is still numb. What's more, I now have killer jaw cramp. x__x I've also been told I have to go back so they can take that filling out and put in another instead. Makes no sense to me now.

Your're probably wondering about the cookies. xD
Mum decided to bake, and now I'm running from an avalanche of Dutch spiced cookies (I actually refuse to call them cookies, as there are no choc-chips in them. They're biscuits ¬¬) that she whipped up. After all, she read 3/4 of a cup as 3 1/4 cups meaning there are three plates sitting on the edge piled up with over 487270877364 biscuits that are begging to be eaten...
Which is really unfair because I can't eat with a numb mouth/jaw. T__T
Oh, and the cat seems to be wary of the cookies... maybe because they're taking up the spot he likes to lounge on in the sun. I'd probably be wary too.

Anyway, I am now officially-officially free from school after wandering in yesterday with blistered feet (from karate the night before) to hand in all of the text books I borrowed. We had to have these little forms signed to say we've not stolen anything... it was ridiculous. I had to take in over 12 books, and with my rucksack full my bag weighed over a stone. O_o Try running up three floors with that only to find the teacher your looking for is elsewhere or not in.
At least my tutor teacher was in her room... with a class of year 9's. (One of which I know. I told him he should make her let them watch Anime seeing as they were doing work on Japan). I made a little raindrop key chain and a cloud badge for her, because they're all Geographyfull x3, out of felt. My brother came home today from school and gave me a card from her, it was really nice. ;D I've decided to make more, so I'll have to get a photo of them when I do. =D
Might sell some one day. Hehe.

Still haven't touched ANY console or computer games... really need to. Thing is, mum suddenly got addicted to Munch's Odyssey (It looks scary and repetitive to me... or she really was doing the same level for 3 days) so I've no access to the PS2 or TV. We're having to use an old one from the loft at the moment as well. Our usual television blew a month back so we have this tiny cube that messes up the colors. I have to reset them everytime I turn it on. D= 'Tis a good thing I only watch TV twice a week. xD
Anyway, on the topic of games I found this. (click to enlarge).

I had a whole discussion about 'female armour' with my friend the other day. I've always wondered what good a metal bikini would do if you're being fired at my level 30 rangers or chased by lesser demons... just as an example. xD At least Elder Scrolls has 'proper' female armour... not that it matters anyway as all of my game characters are always male and out of those males, 99.9% of them are Assassins (Just like my role play characters).

I've been reading Anime and Manga a lot this past week which is good, because with exams and revision and school I'd not been able to read any since January except for Bleach once a week.
I stayed up till 2am watching the full series (25 Episodes) of Air Gear. And, Oh Wow! It's awesome! =D Like Jet Set Radio (Dreamcast game) but better... I continued the manga from where the Anime broke off. Agito rocks. n.n
Happy to see Bleach has ended the flashback chapters now so hopefully we get to see some fighting. I've got fingers crossed that Stark is the 1st Espada. He reminds me of Shunsui, so he's cool. (To those of you who watch the Anime, don't! Fight fillers! Read manga instead!)
I want to find out what happens to Grimmjow as well. D= He's so cool, Kubo can't kill him. TT.TT
I'm hoping Bleach never ends... if it does, Tite Kubo has to go back to Zombie Powder. It's epicly awesome but only had 4 volumes. TT__TT Fangirl comment: Gamma Akutabi pwns all! He's probably the reason I like Grimmjow so much.

I have a few new affiliates and link exchanges so be sure to check them out! One of them suggested to me that I make a seperate icon archive. Have to say, I'm really tempted to because I make too many icons and it'll stop people wanting to eat me for not making any other graphics. Hehe...

Not sure when I'll get round to doing that... I'm still deciding on a name for the subsite. I have one in mind, but it probably won't be final.

Please keep your hands inside the vehicle at all times. This is yet another thing for me to forget about... still, it's better than Myspace ¬¬ If peeps are lucky, I'll log on to that once every six month. (The tables! They burn! x_x)
Any ways, no more exams! Actually, no more school anymore till college in September. Means I know have 2 month to waste/live on Solitary Power/watch Anime/Read Manga/Act like a general idiot. Oh joy! -is trying to get a job, but is failing- Good thing about having just left year 11 is that I have no homework or the like to do over the holiday. No random information on the Chronicles of Corn (AKA the Agricultural Revolution) and Roads to remember for History or endless amounts of different words of erosion. -dances-
The new chapter of Bleach is out, and it's fantastic as always. Go see, I won't throw spoilers at you... all I will say is 'Poor Urahara D='. Need to start reading Naruto and One Piece again... I'm so far behind. Still have Zombie Powder to finish as well...

Starting on the 22nd, SP will be having a contest. Not saying what, as you only have to wait till Sunday. It'll be fun though. I'll be trying to update frequently as well now I'm on holiday... not that I don't anway. I'll also be adding some new content so keep an eye out! After all, I'm a computer junkie who lives at the laptop. Haha, I really do have no life. After all, I'm willing to waste my Christmas money buying a domain. Long time to wait though.

Can't wait till college, because I always get so bored over the holidays. Having no life and the attention span of a sugar high five year old I get violent when I'm bored and wander around in circles for hours or whine non-stop. xD
For some weird reason, I was tempted to take Biology but I'm sticking with History, Geography, Geology and Theology... I think. Watch me change one or add another course to the list last minute.
I want a bag with the 11th Division symbol on it, because I'm sad and think 11th Division rock... Still, the Vizard are cool, and the Arrancar even more so. Ulquiorra or Grimmjow on a bag would rock. xD (For those who have no clue what I'm rambling about, 'tis Bleach!).

My brother was showing me screen shots for the new Prince of Persia game (Prince of Persia: Prodigy I think) and I need it. o.o I'm an epic pop fan, the games rock, and this one looks awesome. xD Reminds me of the concept art for Devil May Cry 4. Might attempt to finish DMC3 over the summer. I found it in the drawer with the rest of the PS2 and Xbox games when looking for something else. Didn't even know we had it.
Still need to finish Assassin's Creed as well. I'm stuck on Memory Block six. I keep falling in the water. You'd think Altair would be able to swim. ¬¬ Still, he rocks big time! x3

Anyway, I need food. D=
